He has been the true source of inspiration and a man of true devotion to the space missions that were carried out by ISRO since 2003.His retirement is sure to create vacuum, he ll always be there to support and motivate the youngters in the coming years.His major effort of launching space mission CHANDRAYAAN-1 was highly lauded and india is really proud to have such a genius.
During his tenure he has seen 27 space missions, of which 25 were successful.He was awarded the second highest civilian award the PADMA BHUSHAN on jan 26th 2009.
He has got one unfulfilled dream of seeing the quality of education higher in India.Lets make it a point to show him highly qualified Indians in the coming years.
