Sachin-Modern Day Bradman

Its not an issue, if tendulkar has achieved a world record by scoring more than 30000 and odd runs in both the forms of cricket by completely protecting himself with recent high-end gadgets.
Its just the game, the sincerity and dedication with which he plays his strokes matters.Even after a journey of 20 long years, the Master Blaster looks fresh and appealing whenever he enters the ground. People still have great expectations of him.

Who can forget the mind blowing innings in the 2003 world cup.He showed who he was and what confidence he had on his stance. He and Dada(Sourav Ganguly) had put some wonderful parterships in the history which will be forever etched on cricket crazy fans.Tendulkar's greatness was established early: he was only 16 when he made his Test debut. He was hit on the mouth by Waqar Younis but continued to bat, in a blood-soaked shirt. So was his desperation to prove his mettle.

There was a time during the 1996 and 1999 world cup, Indian cricket was called a one man's show and the reason for it was SACHIN.Indeed it was so, peole used to turn-off their idiot box the moment sachin got out.Indeed even he felt bad about those comments. But so was his play too. When he was in his supreme touch, it would just be a magical treat to the viewers eyes.Thats why he is called a Master Blaster.

Age indeed played a definite role in the manner in which he essayed his career after the 2003 world cup.Runs started to come slowly of his bat and there was even a talk on TV whether the four greats Sachin, Sourav, Dravid and Lakshman should give their way out for a younger team.Indeed they gave way for the T-20 world cup, but they are never old. Expect for Ganguly's unwarrented controversies, all others are still at their best. These are jus not words, Sachin proved his greatness in recent oneday match against Australia at hyderabad, India, where he alone scored 175 runs, which was half of the runs of the target required.

We should even praise his stance on being indian first and then a mumbaite. So should be every Indian. We salute you Sachin.

To retire from one's passion is never one's liking, so will it be for Sachin. He is a legend beyond words.
